What is this snap strap for on the rear roof panel above the mirror? Ron

You loop it around the knob to help secure the panel. It's a backup.

Yup...only way to prevent panel from folding down on it's own once you push that end of the roof up...

Loop around knob and use snap to secure.

It's a belt-and-suspenders thing -- but can be a good idea in high winds.

Yup...and, judging from our limited experience, if I ever put on the two Fantastic Fans on "high" at the same time with the windows closed and no strap on the rear panel those fans will suck that top down on us!...

Mine needs that strap. Not to say that it won't stay up without it but its iffy.

I was wondering why I had a strap floating around the camper. I'm pretty sure the previous owner removed it or it broke on him. Haven't had any problems with the panel yet though.
