We took a quick trip last week to enjoy some unseasonably nice weather. I posted a trip report to the blog. It's likely our last trip of the year as winter is bound to show up here soon (the camper is off the truck and in the garage). We had a foot of snow this time last year.

Some memories to get thru the winter. Having to wait until next year for the next one must be a bummer ! Of course, just think of all those new maps and other goodies you can buy to use when you start to plan for that first trip next spring, and the next...and next !

Smoke, it is a fun pastime to think about the next summer's camping during the long winter around here. The occasional ski trips to a friend's cabin also help pass the time. As the years go by, we find ourselves wishing winters would be shorter and summers longer. It actually seems like our wishes are coming true with the way climate change is going- in the 50s here this week and probably next week too according to the forecast- unusual for November! Soon we will be wishing we still had winter, haha.
