Just a quick run over to Death Valley and the Eastern Sierra's all by my self camping, hiking and bike riding not staying more than two days anywhere but taking the time to stop and draw something everyday.

I camped at that Mattole Beach c.g. last summer before I visited you! Great spot.
 
It is refreshing to see illustrations accompanying a TR. You use different perspectives and viewpoints which draws the viewer in. I am an illustrator also but mostly shoot photos nowadays. But next trip I am bringing graphite and colored pencils to see if I can capture the essence of a place. Thank-you for sharing. These are gorgeous. I bet you do them quickly, also. Not that they show it but it takes a master to deftly use brush and pen and make it look like they took all day.
