4WC + Dirtbike suggestions

Glad to see some Tdub love here. I've got one too and am searching for a way to get it out to the wilds on my trips. I'd rather not tow it but that may be the only way to go with a Tacoma. With my camper loaded for a trip I still get sag in the back. That's not with an extra fuel container that I have taken once in a while. I've considered the smaller Harbor Freight trailer for the Tdub but hear it isn't truly off-road capable.

Here is mine but I don't know about it. I added a hitch extension but I was worried. I talked to the toyota service manager and he said no problem, but he gets paid to fix my truck ;) It road well and everything felt okay but I worry about that being so far back.
I have a front hitch and I am planning to try it out. For now I am still using my trailer. I had all the parts for this test so I didn't have to buy anything.

FWIW, I have used a hitch carrier to haul my YZ450 all over...works great, and I offroad like crazy. Thats with the wife, 2 kids and 75lb dog. 2012 Hawk shell, 08 Tundra, all stock (+air bags).

How close to the back of the camper was yours?

I have a hitch carrier and carry a pretty heavy DR650. It works great. I did have a handle bar make contact with the rear of the camper, put a small dent in it. It was during a panic stop on the interstate. The bike stayed on the hitch carrier fine, it moved just enough to contact the rear of the camper and then basically settle almost straight back up.
