I finally drove my new Project M home and immediately noticed that there is a wind buffeting sound while on the highway. It's not too bad but definitely noticeable compared to driving the truck without the camper. I would think this would also reduce my Mpg. Are there any wind-deflecting roof racks to solve this? I noticed one guy was using this one:

Prinsu Roof Rack

There have been several posts on this site in the past about wind deflectors, do a search lots of info. Even with deflectors you will definitely drop MPGs with your camper.

Just put a simpler version on my truck. 1/4x1inch aluminum strap bent to shape and attached the to truck roof with HD double sided outdoor tape and to the rack with bolts. Then the snowboard bolted up to that. Remains to be seen what mileage looks like. Just hoping for bug reduction on the camper and quieter driving. Both of those seem to be happening.
