RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Do you think an FWC or a GFC would make more sense for full-time living in this situation?

Do what you have to do, but depending on where in Utah you are talking about it will range from hard to very, very hard in the winter. I know. BTDT. You could rent an apartment for the price of the 4WC. Sell one of your trucks if you can. If you move back east you will then not need to move two...

Fort Peck in Montana has introduced land-locked Chinook Salmon that are doing quite well.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Jerry Cans - The secret Weapon

We love our 38 gallon tank on our '19 Tundra double cab. Having a 300 mile plus range is mighty convenient and helps with the peace of mind. The instrument panel says 410 miles range when filled -- but if you think I trust that -- no way!

Happy homecoming. You could just turn around and go out again for a month or two. The white stuff should be gone by then.

Quite a Herculean, if not Sisyphian, task! I am in awe. No offence to Ski or the Lady, but it looks like the script for some horror movie! The Shining II maybe. But then I am just averse to the white stuff after 30 years on the business end of a shovel. We had no snowblowers, but my dad...

Be sure to stop for an ice cream cone or shake at Old Mill Ice Cream in Star Valley Wyoming, just south of Jackson Hole. Back in the 70's I walked in to the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar in Jackson and the Butterfield Blues Band was playing. Old Paul Butterfield could rock the house.

Andy, simple falls can have long lasting effects. If trouble persists you may want to get some x-rays and a doctor consult. Hope you recover soon.

It's all fun and games until the law of averages reasserts itself and you are buried under 9 feet of snow. :) I feel only a bit sorry for those that had no experience with a Donner Party grade winter. There are books and stuff that describe what to expect. I left Montana to get away from the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Almost a Stolpa Adventure

I wonder why it is always males? I never hear of 60 year old women hiking alone across death valley in the summer and dying. Or trying to jump Devil's Churn near Yachats and dying, etc, etc, etc.

Looks like a good year for flowers in the southwest. My sister just north of Tucson had snow a few days back. Drought Monitor puts most of Arizona with no drought at all.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Three Month Home Base in Southwest

Welcome back to the USA Rob. You may want to take this poor weather as an opportunity to visit death valley. It is our go-to place when winter lingers too long in the southwest. You can't beat 200 feet below sea level for a place likely to be at least warm. Some of the best exploring and scenery...
