I think all this involves travel to the interior of mainland Mexico where vehicle registration is checked. This is not the case for Baja travel. I've never had my registration checked in Baja.

Never had a problem in the last 10 years since I've had the camper. They did x-ray the truck last year at the Tijuana crossing.

The breaker needs to be sized to protect the lowest gage wire in the circuit. If you don't upgrade the 10ga wire in the camper keep the 30 amp breaker.

Gussie, I just did that drive at the beginning of July. I left McCloud and had breakfast at Bartle's in the morning and dinner at the Garlock campsite. Long drive but it was beautiful. Hwy 395 is one of my favorite roads. As of last November the soda fountain was still there and delicious. Dick
