Hey All Got a new Camper! It has a little AC unit I would like to remove.. Does anyone know if there is an easy solution for this, like.. will a standard window fit there.. where does one source the windows? etc.. Hoping someone has some experience doing this... Thx

Sounds like my install.. haha.. its not easy, but I think in the end you will be happy with it. Mine also does not always come down centered, I don't find it to be much of a problem, I just push it to center. I believe mine is due to the lifter struts, seems one side might just be a touch...

FYI - I take mine off and on all the time as I need the truck for work.. you can get real efficient with it.. mine sits on harbor freight trailer and have it at a height so that I only have to jack it up a few inches to load..

I have an old Grandby and stripped it to the frame. There was zero support in the corner for the mounted type corner jacks. I use the big old cable jacks with the big platform (the kind that uses only one on each side and you find the balance point), however, I have 4 of them so I don't have...

mine was pneumatic.. you will be surprised how much you might end up using it.. that along with a cheap nail gun.. they get so much use around the house and rebuilding campers.. couldn't imagine life without them...haha

I used a synthetic trim piece that is white from home depot.. if you are ok with it not being wood.. works great, looks clean.. Found in the moulding section

Hmmm... my Grandby is 1050#. I have no heater or yeti cooler.. and used a rubber one piece floor that isn't as heavy as the LVT
