Taken from Timp Point, North Rim of Grand Canyon. The Forest Service had been doing controlled burns and they created these rivers of smoke.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West UTAH FILES SUIT AGAINST FED’S TO GAIN CONTROL OF LAND

On a recent trip thru Utah, I saw a few billboards that said (I'm paraphrasing here) - "Shouldn't Utah be in charge of its own land" - or something to that effect.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Heads Up - US Dogs in Canada

Rabies vaccine has been in place for quite awhile. What's new are the chip, uploading a photo of your dog and the completion of a form online within I believe 10 days of your crossing to the specific border crossing you will use. THis is not unlike Canada's requirements to cross the border...

These rules are absolutely ridiculous. A search of the CDC website shows no mention of a rabies outbreak and states that neither Canada or Mexico are high risk areas.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Prototype done- protective “Bra” for front of cabover

It feels like a solution looking for a problem. I typically use a miracle eraser sponge and some water and the bugs and debris come right off. The nose then gets a few coats of wax which reduces the debris a lot. I'd be concerned with water being caught underneath that cover as well.

I've had and used the Combi now going on 7 years. It has worked flawlessly -- sips propane and is extremely quiet.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Overland Route - Joshua Tree Adventure Route

Berdoo Canyon, unfortunately, has become a major area for target practice, especially near the southern end. Lots of trash, empty casings and targets. North of that, there are some short technical sections I have easily navigated with my truck camper. Sorry you missed Geology Tour but IMHO...

It looks like you have solved the stool problem. But for releasing camper latches, I simply screwed a hook into the end of a 4 foot dowel and can stay on the ground as I walk around unlatching the roof. Of course, I do need the stool to relatch them. I also use this stool to relatch the roof...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West MaxxAir fan green LED and audible alarm

It's possible that the problem could be more than a mud dauber. Basically, the MaxAir fans are designed to run on a pretty narrow band of 12-13 volts. If you have solar (and most of us do), that could easily put out over 13 volts which triggers that alarm in some fans and can fry the mother...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New thermal pack: quilted with lower window covers

I have Reflectix in my Bundutec popup and it makes an honest 10 degree difference in cold Temps. The furnace runs less and with a good quilt, it's good to the teens above 0. And for the price of the thermal packs, I can buy a lot of gas. Anyone with access to a sewing machine (or someone who...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Exterior Reflectix

I made a Reflectix barrier for the interior of my Bundutec popup thats attached with velcro top and bottom. In really cold temperatures, it probably adds 10-5 degrees to inside temp so the furnace works less. In hot weather, it definitely keeps the interior cooler and on windy days, minimizes...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Installing Maxxair fan in 2012 Eagle - making sure I don't need low profile?

Before you install, watch this video. https://youtu.be/B5nIeA0tL8I I doubt Maxxair has fixed the problem yet, but their fans work in a pretty narrow voltage input -- around 12.5. If you have solar, it typically puts out 13+ volts and that can either fry the fan motherboard entirely or cause...

A roll or 2 of reflectix and some stick on velcro, and you'd have one for around $100 or so.
