RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Cooking? I'm on VACATION!

If I was still in Washington and had access to a shop it would be a good project, could probably get an old disc from a farming cousin as well but since I'm in a townhouse right now I'll just place the order.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Tundra 38 gallon gas tank

What year Tundra? There was a discussion on TundraTalk.net about this awhile ago. Not sure if anyone has actually gotten around to testing a retrofit as I went the jerry can route.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Cooking? I'm on VACATION!

I like using the grill. Veggies, chicken, pork chops, steaks all find their way onto the grill at some point. Hummus and crackers can work for a snack. Tortillas with some cheese and salami all rolled up is a great quick lunch. Breakfast is usually a cuppa unless there is a big day planned...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Sightings thread

2/27/18 On Highway 77 I was headed northbound and saw an Eagle(?) on a white Taco heading south at a stop light in about Oro Valley then right around the turn off for Biosphere 2 I met a Dodge with a Hawk on the back.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West is a pop up really worth it?

For me there is no way I want an always up camper. Too many of the roads I travel (or want to travel) have low overhanging rocks or branches, plus the lower center of gravity makes it feel much more comfortable when navigating terrain where 4WD is required. After years of tents or sleeping...

Looks good! I'll need to find a local fabricator but should be able to make something like this work along with the AT Fuel Can carrier on that side.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Top-down use: how often do you sleep in/use your FWC with the top down?

Never felt like winds were an issue and I've been in 60+ gusts. Several people on the board have driven down the road for a ways with the top up with no apparent ill effects so while the noise might be unnerving there isn't really a danger of collapse. I have slept with the top down on a...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Ghost Town Tour

This website is a place to start. I've been to Nelson, NV and it is sort of a tourist area but the buildings are well preserved, lots of antiques out in the yards, great place for photography. Looking forward to exploring more in AZ but most seem to be nothing more than foundations now.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Utah's Big Five National Parks

When are you going? Might be possible to get campsite reservations for the White Rim Trail. Needles is great if you hike. Head south out of Needles and cross through Breed Basin and from there through the Bears Ears to cross the river at Hite then on up towards Hanksville and Capitol Reef or...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Dodge 3/4t tires-ToyoM55 or BFG KO2

I have a year on my ST Maxx's and about 16,000 miles and been very pleased with them so far. I replaced a set of AT/3's that were pushing 50,000 miles but with a White Rim trip and a Toroweap visit going on decided I wanted to be on the front side of the tread curve rather than the backend...

Thanks for sharing the article. I'd seen the SUWA information on the increase in chaining and it seems like we have stepped back in time 50 or 60 years with regards to public lands management. Poor EA is probably rolling over in his grave.
