RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Finally ordered! Starting my dream build

Yeah that looks like a good fit. The trick is to find the right sized containers to fit each compartment without wasting space. It looks like you have a good solution going.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Finally ordered! Starting my dream build

I don't have pictures inside the camper but here are some of the things we use. Like others have mentioned, we use MSR nesting pots that are the "base camp" size. Similar to these: We also have nesting dinner ware that serves four and and fits into a serving plate and bowl. Plates, bowls...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Experiences and first road trip with the Bobcat

I really like those Colorados, looks like a great setup. Keep it light. Reminds me of my first truck camper with the rear overhang... It worked out very well for me. Congratulations and enjoy the new camper!

Ha Ha That is why I had the storage cabinets added on my build out - This is the cloths pantry: The rear corner pantry is for extra cookware and dry goods:

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Rear pop top latches

What he said... If you have an awning or want to add an awning, they typically move the latch to the back on that corner. And may move the forward latch further forward to allow room for the awning or for awning prep (if you might add one later). If you don't plan to add an awning, it will...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 84 inches, has bigger been better ...

Love the wider camper. On the Tundra it is narrower than the width of the mirrors and at the bulge of the rear fenders it overhangs by about 1" on each side ( the jack brackets maybe a little more). Marty said the Panther has the widest door which is nice, as well. I don't notice any issues...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West WanderTheWest stickers

Hi Paul, I had mine made for outside installation. I think they can do it both ways but they might have to do additional artwork to switch it. You'll have to check with VinylDisorder. Jim

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West WanderTheWest stickers

I had some stickers made which required having the art work done so, I thought I would pass along this info. I ordered from VinylDisorder and asked if others could have stickers made using my artwork. Here is the response from my order. BTW - shipping was an additional $4. The lettering...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Oven Range w/ 3 burners?

I cringe at the loss of storage space. :D What about a stove top oven like this Omnia oven? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01H80FLTY?tag=amz-mkt-chr-us-20&ascsubtag=1ba00-01000-org00-def00-other-nomod-us000-pcomp-feature-scomp-wm-4-wl-ddt1_sce0_prc0_aapi0&ref=bit_scomp_ddt_t1 I have no...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West What are the must have add ones? From ATC or self built. I'm about to order!

I like that ammo can mounted in the AT holder. Did you make the hold down bracket for the ammo can or is it available from AT Overland? Just curious, is it not dangerous to mount a fuel can above the hot heater exhaust outlet?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West FWC Camper Hawk Pull Handle Above Cab Over Bed Area

My wife hits the handle all the time crawling into bed and complains about it. What about the strap to lock it like Squach says and shortening the handle. You could shorten enough to hang down flat against the panel.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West What is this?

Agreed. I have a brochure from around 2000. Check the width. The Eagle should be ~59" and the Hawk ~80".

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 78" wide vs. 84" wide

I went round and round on the width when I got my Panther. That was probably my biggest concern while I waited for mine to be built. I have to say the 84" width is fantastic and I haven't run into any issues. I love the wide aisle and door as well as the big storage area behind the bench that...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Tacoma or Tundra for pop up camper

I've had two Tundras. A 2000 with a FWC Ranger which I had for 10 years. I now have a 2017 with an ATC Panther which I just got this summer. They were both fantastic! I added a rear sway bar and air bags on the new Tundra and realize now that I may not have needed the air bags...
