RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Replacement faucet for 2017 bobcat?

Vic, I ordered the sink from Panther RV along with the recommended faucet which I think is "CAN Srl RB1487 Fold-Down Fresh Water Faucet - Cold Tap". It has worked well for me.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Replacement faucet for 2017 bobcat?

Hi Vic, I have the Dometic SMEV single burner/sink combo. We never cook in the camper and only occasionally heat water for coffee or doing dishes. I'm not that comfortable having the cooking smells in our sleeping space. Originally I wanted to get just a sink and no stove. But when I found...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Replacement faucet for 2017 bobcat?

krs, Is it the one where the handle is a hand pump? You might post a picture of what you currently have. I had a Dometic SMEV sink put in my Panther but have had several other campers in the past. The one I currently have folds down to fit under a glass top and the handle controls the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 3 years later

My rear steps are a modified Little Giant Ladder. I removed the handrail and wheels. The best part is that it is like steps instead of a step ladder, in that the steps are wide and not too steep. It is very stable. But like all non attached step stools, it needs a flat surface. I purchased it...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Height of Interior w Top down?

My Panther built for my 2017 Toyota Tundra is tall to fit the deep bed. I believe that is a factor. I am 6'2" and can sit up on the bench without problem. But as suggested, call ATC. And keep in mind that they can make customizations if ordering new.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New Ford Ranger FWC Fleet Installation

Very nice. It looks like a wind fairing would help and you may be able to add some storage under the bed overhang. Enjoy the new camper.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Optimal location for roof rack cross bars

I had a FWC Ranger with the factory canoe rack and now have an ATC Panther with the Yakima tracks. I like having the rack on the tracks because you can adjust the space between the bars to fit your needs. On the ends works great for a long canoe but not for most other items. For loading I use...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Sliding window

I had to replace the window on my old 2000 FWC. It is very easy but I had to save the clear glass because most replacements I found didn't have the clear glass.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Installing rooftop solar wire for campers NOT pre-wired

Vic, I'm in the same boat with my Panther, I added solar panels last summer and am upgrading now. I haven't gotten the nerve up to punch the hole in the roof. I did a search last summer and saw ski's description. I mount my awning to 1x2 aluminum rectangular tubing attached to the jack...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 1st Gen Tundra Air Bags...?

I ran the firestone air bags with a Gen 1 Tundra for at least 10 years with no issues. I had the TRD with stock suspension. Well, other than a slow leak in one bad since new  My guess is that it is the taller suspension. The daystar cradles may be in order. Keep in mind that they...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Another Roof Lifting Mechanism

That make sense. I bought a grape solar 180w panel to replace my flex panels and was thinking that might be a good solution if I end up needing help lifting the roof. I have the side bench seat and it sounds like that would work...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Ultimate Fridge Thread

I have a question for everyone. I have a TruckFridge TB51 fridge/freezer and it is working great. Do you leave your fridge on when not in use? I have been leaving it plugged in and on when it is out of the camper and was wondering if I am wearing it out or if it is better for the compressor to...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Another Roof Lifting Mechanism

Rando, I'm having trouble picturing your lift in action. Is it about 30 inches long and lifts 30 inches for a total of about 60 inches? Do you lift with it standing on the bench to give you the height you need? It looks great! Jim

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Old camper on a new truck

When you measure how much extra height you need don't forget to measure that the front overhang clears the cab as well as the side rails.
