RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West BedRug Liner Under A FWC?

Thanks for posting this up Phil. Ironic, cause i just dropped my truck off tonight to have linex installed tomorrow! I was going to do it myself, this next summer, but got my first scratch on the new truck last week, ouch. Figured by summer all the scratches would be rusting and create more work...

Nice start. I too look forward to more. Can second the mosquitos in areas so dry, you would have never thought. Ran into them a little south of Othello along the Columbia.

When your bosses are the age of your kids. When the " kids " at work start lifting the heavy stuff for me. Cigarettes from the vending machine jeez. The only. Time I ever smoked was about 7th grade on Boy Scout camp outs. Would ride our bikes to the vending machine behind jc penny's in Ventura.

Too funny, and sad sign of the times. Most non californios would laugh and say, " only in cal." But maybe not so much any more.

Best of luck Bill and all. I have also worn glasses since 3rd grade. Went to 4 different docs for lasik, but no go. Last one said " just have cataract surgery. Will need eventually, one of most performed operations in U.S". I passed as only in mid 50s. But tempting. Another thing to think...

Great blog. Been on my list for yrs. Almost made it 35 yrs ago in my Dodge Dart, but couldn't quite make it thru one wash. Another more recent memory jogged by the road closed sign. I went around one about 5 yrs ago outside of Coalinga Ca. A road I had taken before. About 10 miles in at a...

There you go Phil, these posts have real life experience all over the map. Be nice if could go with the spray in liner and call it good. I imagine a camper shifting around has a lot to do with what kind of roads taken, how tightly staked down etc. the majority of what I have read do need some...

Thats one thing that struck me on the camper tour last wkend. After reading about aluminum framing and all, the fwc, alaskan, and nstar all have wood touching the bed of the truck. Doesn't seem smart. But hopefully all epoxy or other magic potion protection. You are certainly correct about...

I researched this last week Wallowa. Seems folks use everything from horsestall mats, rubber mats,to foam pads. The foam sounds best to me as is the lightest. Will find out in 8-12 weeks when I get my new n.star 850! I am going to use those interlocking foam pads they use at work stations etc...
