RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Solar wiring diagram

Thanks again Vic. short answer is; Simple, keeping it as light as possible, don’t stay in one place more than a day or two. But I am planning on the future so I don’t have to do it all over again, but the sky is not the limit, so best bang for the buck. (That’s the hard part) And trust me I...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Solar wiring diagram

Well Vic I guess I didn’t catch the date on that video when I saw it. And since my Hawk has yet to be delivered I’m hoping it’s going to be a 2020, if not we are all in trouble! My goal is to take this time and put all the pieces together, solar panels, charge controller, battery monitor etc. so...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Solar wiring diagram

I am still in the planning phase while waiting for my Hawk shell and am now trying to figure out the solar and all that I need for that, so this topic does interest me as well. But from what I just saw the other day are the two wires from the solar connectors the one on the roof and the other on...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West any cheap recovery boards have the same mount hole spacing (and nest with?) actual MaxTrax MK2?

I’ve kind of been looking at those. The fact that they appear to be twice as thick as MaxTrax stacked leads me to think they won’t stack well with them. This guy shows their comparison in case you haven’t seen this.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Coronavirus shut down

Thanks for the update, and stay safe. Obviously no one likes any of this and if you and your crew get sick it won’t be doing anyone any good as well.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Who has a new camper on order?

Yes I saw that, thanks. Truly a weird time for all and I feel sorry for all that are not able to work. Let’s all do our part to beat this thing and stay healthy. As my mom always said “things worth having are worth waiting for” :)

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Who has a new camper on order?

I just found out the factory (like most things) is closed down. Waiting to hear from FWC on how long they think things might be delayed. Anybody else hear anything?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Awnings?

I have an ARB 1250 awning which is currently mounted on my pickup topper, that is going to be replaced with my FWC Hawk when it arrives. I’m currently perusing everything here on how to mount it when it does arrive. I have had the awning for over a year now and it works great, that’s why I...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Thunderbolt Solar from Harbor Freight

Thanks Rando, that’s what I was afraid of. And thanks for the link and that info as well Stan. Solar is kind of new to me so I am going to need this 4 month wait to get it figured out. But by then it will probably be all new technology! :)

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Thunderbolt Solar from Harbor Freight

I have searched and have not found any reference to anyone having any experience with the 100 watt solar panel system that Harbor Freight sells. https://www.harborfreight.com/100-watt-solar-panel-kit-63585.html I have (or will have when we take delivery of our Hawk in July.) limited needs as...
