I have searched and have not found any reference to anyone having any experience with the 100 watt solar panel system that Harbor Freight sells.
https://www.harborfreight.com/100-watt-solar-panel-kit-63585.html

I have (or will have when we take delivery of our Hawk in July.) limited needs as it is shell with a Furnace, and plan on eventually getting a 12v fridge/freezer.
They are constantly on sale for $150 and usually have a coupon of some sort.
Any ideas, thoughts?
Thanks!

Best to skip on those panels. They appear to be old technology and inefficient panels - for the dimensions and weight a modern mono-crystaline panel will provide twice the output, or conversely be half the size for the same output. I am sure the charge controller is also a low quality PWM deal (this is Harbor Freight after all).

Thanks Rando, that’s what I was afraid of.

And thanks for the link and that info as well Stan.

Solar is kind of new to me so I am going to need this 4 month wait to get it figured out. But by then it will probably be all new technology! :)

if you’re dry camped for a long period of time, a bigger panel will help keep the batteries charged. Compressor refrigerators can eat amps in hot weather.
