Oooooh, I'm going to give this a try. I have Yakima bars and a cargo box on top. Of course, the cargo box is emptied when I lift the camper, but it will be interesting to see if the speaker stand pole can handle the extra weight. I'll try it and give an update, if anyone is interested.

A campground right in a real ghost town? Silver City Idaho is an excellent choice, with plenty of BLM land also available for boondocking. But the dirt road there is usually closed off for the long winters. Over 6000' elevation, it's not on the way to anywhere...

I was searching for a table that wasn't wobbly. The one I found is reasonably lightweight, stores flat, and has telescoping legs for just the right height for what I need. I'm not sure where I bought this (Costco?), but it was a nice surprise when I discovered that, when flat, it fit perfectly...

Taku, I can order one from their site. I could remove/resell the Fiamma and install the BatWing pretty easy. I'm just surprised that the distributor has an exclusive deal with FWC, and no one else.

Bseek is spot on. Buy what you need as you need it, rather than what you think you'll need. Not sure where you live, drumwood, but take some little overniters and you'll find out right quick what your needs will be. Less is more!

Another shout out for ATC. I stopped by two days after Xmas to see about getting more Yakima track installed on my Bobcat. Not only were they open two days after a major holiday, but Jeff got me what I wanted installed and I was out of there in less than an hour. $40 out the door!
