Thanks for another route to add to my bucket list though I'm not so sure I wouldn't rather do it in my Jeep. Had to google skoolie :)

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Update Awning for Hawk

The cummins isn't that loud. I think its mostly 20 years of use that makes it rattle.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Update Awning for Hawk

The Alu Cab 270 Shadow awning has a short post in the middle your can raise to help the rain run off. Yes, you can lower a leg on the fiamma. I've never noticed any rattling on mine, Maybe its everything else that rattles hiding the noise :)

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Wintertime...and the livin' is freezy

.4 so far. I assume the cold storms followed by warm storms and vice versa makes avalanche control interesting ?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Pellet stove for Camping advice?

I have a pit boss portable pellet grill and it works great but its heavy, bulky and requires a 110v source. Not really practical for a short trip but I'd seriously consider it for a group trip or if I were going to be camped in one spot for a long period. Adding the external 100 outlet has the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Wintertime...and the livin' is freezy

That's a good story! I wouldn't have a clue how to live where its really cold. Teens are cold enough for me. I'm bringing plenty of gear this weekend even though its likely we'll just see rain on the historical run. I sure hope the fairgrounds has the electrical fixed. I may run out of propane...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West One-pound refillable propane cylinders: Fuel Keg vs Flame King

I have one of the flame king units but I rarely use it. Its more for emergencies than anything else. One of the best mods I've ever done was this one run the bbq off the big tank. I used to run a propane light but no longer. The little led light on the camper is plenty to cook by. My local...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Wintertime...and the livin' is freezy

Starting to sprinkle but this system isn't supposed to do much here in the valley.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West RainX Wiper blades

Another thing to really getting your windshield clean is to use grade#0000 steel wool to clean it. 0000 won't scratch and it removes just about everything. Then apply rain-x.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West RainX Wiper blades

I've tried a number of wipers including rain-x and none of them really stand out. Original rain-x is good product though a bit of a pita to apply.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Shunt, Inverter Wiring

The possibility of drawing too much current through the shunt. Making it act like a fuse. Maybe I worry too much.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Shunt, Inverter Wiring

I bypassed the shunt on mine. I figure with the rare times I run the inverter it won't screw me up that much. Hopefully.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Wintertime...and the livin' is freezy

One of those interesting storms that mainly hits the Sierra's and just a small amount of rain here in the valley.
