i made a small alum brkt to attach license plate , which included a hole to mount camera lens . cant remember company that sold it, but it is/was populat.. it worked fine, and i didnt need to figure out how to connect to camper.

i think ATC ? has a brkt that attaches to camper lift brkts on a conventional pop up. i had one, and worked, but sold, and dont have it in front of me for reference.

stop by the Pioneer Saloon in Paisley while there. pretty good food, and usually have a decent beer selection. its been for sale for awhile - but hope it sticks around.

i vote for you to wait to decide on your seating. i am a big fan of using the camper, and then figuring out layout details. its amazing how things come to you out in the forest, sitting back on a nice chair, sipping a cold brew, and just looking at the camper..... :)

i have the dometic 75L, and my 200 w solar, and 100w lith batt handled it just fine. mine has 2 lids, so rarely have to access the freezer side when configured that way. i never did a week at 98 deg. though.

maybe just buy 2 batts? unless u are trying to cut down a tree.

i see the camper/gear weight issue is very similar to ABS brakes - which are now standard/mandatory. most of us are able to tool around, to and from camping, driving FS roads, etc, and never use the ABS capabilities within our braking systems. its only when u have to perform a panic stop, or...

what chet says, times 2. its not that important, about how the weight 'feels'. its the breaking, panic turns, etc - that you should be concerned about. go

i second the thinking of extending jack brkts up as high as you can go. provides more attachment points, for little extra cost/effort. i wanted to do that on my atc, but changed mind. now that i have it, i wished i hadn't. go
