For that price I would just buy a bug out external solar panel for a few dollars more

Thats my thinking just disconnect the camper to truck connection. Solar should be enough to charge camper batteries .160 on top an a 120 portable hooked up in back.

So is it a large black one? I ask because truck was in shop an machinic said a had a battery drain an diagnose it to be that big black cable. My limited knowledge say camper batteries should not be draining truck battery. So if that cable is connection to camper how do I stop the drain?

camper rich you hit the nail on its head!! midsummer wy! 90% of sites in n.f , blm where occupy by empty campers! talked to dnr an they yes it was a loophole in their 14 day stay!! sure hope they changed the rule to 14 day occupied an in use!

we use a old camping chair an we wrote "site occupied" on back of it , an then put rock, or some other weighted object in it ! worked so far!

so we did 3 different trips all between 4-5 thousand miles 40 days average! my Tundra after market uac should be greased every 3-4 thousand miles. Do you stop at a local garage an get them greased or do u carry a grease gun????
