I'm thinking about joining this group on an outing to the Saline Valley Hot Springs on Nov. 13th. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and it'll be nice soaking temps. If what the group suspects is true, El Niño will make the road to the hot springs virtually inaccessible until spring of 2016...

I would remove the jacks (if you purchased them) as they won't be needed and they add a lot of extra weight. Get a rug for the floor. On my maiden voyage I didn't have one and never again will I go out without one.

Wow, you really squeezed a lot into three weeks and it sounded like an incredible trip. I'm lucky to live in (or close to) a lot of the areas you visited.
