    New Custom Panther Shell

I love it--nice, agile and simple. I went with a very similar style/build.

    Canyon Coolers?

Earlier this year, I watched the same video posted on this thread by Kolockum (above) and I went with their #1 pick and bought an Engel 65. The Engel was over $100 less than a Yeti and, per the video, performed better. I've been extremely happy with it and would buy it again. Performance...

    Anyone with an R-Pod

Just my two cents worth, but... I had a Heartland MPG, which is the exact floorplan, size, weight, etc. of the R-Pod, in fact Forrest River sued Heartland for copying their design. I sold mine in favor of a pop up truck camper and I'm so glad I did. I don't miss the trailer AT ALL. Pulling...

    Carson City Nevada

Carson City is just south of me, yet I've never explored it too much. I know there's a lot of history there as well as Genoa and of course Virginia City. Have you ever soaked at Carson Hot Springs? It's developed, but it's reasonably priced and a good way to top off a cold day. Thanks for...

Green Creek - East Side Sierra Nevada

A nice short trip is better than no trip at all and Death Valley is right down the road for that dead of winter camping. As for the propane issue, I've had that same thing happen to me and if I just unscrew the hose to the propane tank enough to hear it hiss, then screw it back on tight, it...

California Hot Spring Adventures Meet Up/Saline Valley Hot Springs

I'm thinking about joining this group on an outing to the Saline Valley Hot Springs on Nov. 13th. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and it'll be nice soaking temps. If what the group suspects is true, El Niño will make the road to the hot springs virtually inaccessible until spring of 2016...

    Lundy Canyon - October 2015

Too bad you all didn't get to soak on Day 1. You all had some great timing too by finishing up just before the storm rolled in. Can we expect a few winter trip reports from you two in the months to follow? Thanks for sharing.

Pick Up Camper and Immediately Head Out?

I would remove the jacks (if you purchased them) as they won't be needed and they add a lot of extra weight. Get a rug for the floor. On my maiden voyage I didn't have one and never again will I go out without one.

    My new Ocelot

Wow, you really squeezed a lot into three weeks and it sounded like an incredible trip. I'm lucky to live in (or close to) a lot of the areas you visited.
