I'm not an expert, but I too own a Grandby and when I was in the market if I could have found a good used Keystone I would have bought it. There really isn't enough of an overhang to complicate anything and a foot or so more floor space makes a lot of difference IMO. I had a camping partner...

Personally no as I have an equipped Grandby. Over the years though photos of a few shells with rack systems have shown up in the FWC for sale section so it is not unheard of. Of those I've seen, IIRC have all been built not bought. Best of luck with your storage...

If you mean flat out beach boondocking. I can only only speak generally for parts of Washington and Oregon as I have not been to all of it and IMO even the less than stellar parts are still pretty darn good. In Washington, at least south of Puget Sound, maybe north too, never tried, the beach...

Krylon makes a paint for about any surface material anymore. Even the soon to be moldy metal of Western Oregon ;) If it's silver or nothing, I had good luck with the Carefree of Colorado awning I had on my motorhome of days past. Came in matte finish silver on mine. It may be worth a look...
