Still haven’t committed to using these brackets. Anyone else using a Alu-Cab awning? How did you attach it to the camper? Thanks!

Been watching this one for a bit. Previously on Denver CL right? Thinking the sizing might not be too far off for our 2015 Eagle. Tempted.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Das Mule Alu Cab Shadow Awning mounting brackets FWC

Glad to hear you like them, thanks! Did you have to move a latch? Our camper will live on the truck, so hopefully won’t need to use jacks often. If you have a picture....I would love to see it! Thanks again!

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Das Mule Alu Cab Shadow Awning mounting brackets FWC

Has anyone used these? Other than the description provided by Mule Outfitters, I find no info, or images. Just curious. Considering the Alu Cab awning, and a no drill option sounds really nice. Thanks!

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Furring Strips Under Newer FWC

Thank you for changing my mind River_Rat! I just got a chance look at the entire underside....and I would also need to trim metal. At least up front. No way! I am sitting right around 2” above the rails as is w/o my bed mat now. 1/2” to 3/4” would be ideal....but I will just live with it. The...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Furring Strips Under Newer FWC

1 strip would give me perfect clearance. I shouldn’t admit....but I will...it was a trade in at FWC Woodland, and I just picked it up last week. I did the walk around, thought it’s in good shape and I’m thrilled to have it, but didn’t take a minute to check clearances. If I had, and had seen the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Furring Strips Under Newer FWC

Dumb question. I'll ask anyway before I go breaking something. My 2015 Eagle sits higher than my 2008. I'd like to lower it a couple of inches. The camper has what I would call furring strips underneath, stacked 3 high. Obviously factory, and meant to raise the camper on trucks with taller...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Used Camper Alert Thread

I would say yes age matters, and of course I know Eagles are hard to find. That price would be completely reasonable for a nice Eagle maybe 2012 or newer. If all systems had been replaced in an older camper, sure....maybe. In the end it’s worth what the market will bear. That said...Vic you...

Yikes! I value ours at $1,356.18. Not for sale though. Somewhat related...our 2004 Land Cruiser with 135k Miles is worth about $24,000 in this market. So who knows. Good luck with the search! Great truck/camper combo!
