Has the Supra brand been discontinued? Having a hard time finding a good source online. Anyone have a link for me? Many thanks, Mark I have an extra set, thought I was going to use them on my camper but have decided to try a different setup. PM if you are interested in them.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Propane compartment question

ah, got it. Can I drill a second hole through this? It would need to be within 3'' of the other bolt, that is if the other bolt is centered on the block.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Propane compartment question

Well, not exactly! There is a 1 1/2" gap between the black plastic and the plywood wall of the floor pack. A 6x6 block is in the area where the bolt is. Push on the plastic and you will feel what I am referring to. Ooops, I stand corrected.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Propane compartment question

That area of the camper is a plywood wall, there is no problem in drilling a hole for another strap.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Aluminum scratches

Yeah, I guess I didn't really think about painted or not. I thought that it was just a different kind of anodizing layer that gave it that silver look. Before I ordered my camper I had FWC send me a sample of the silver siding, as I was seriously considering it. Today I dug it out and took a...

Yes, it's in the light silver portion. So the scratches are in the paint then? Hmmm, wax it?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West What is it?

Any ideas what it is? I have run across the website before, but I do not remember what the name was. If it is what I remember, it opens up to an A frame, making for a ''cozy'' interior.

Thanks for sharing! How was the road out to White Pocket? I was in Vermillion Cliffs in the spring of 2011, would like to be there now as ''mud'' season is getting old here in the far north.

Just checked out (read skimmed) your mileage report. You really get 23-24 mpg regularly with your unloaded Tundra?! That's awesome. I've seen 19 once with my unloaded 2003. Down hill. With a tail wind... From his MPG report. (Note: Being Canadian, I will give the mileage in imperial gallons...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Motion light install

Okay, I lost the original thread. Who suggested this? Mighty good idea. This is it with the light on. I posted a link to this light a short while back, so if you were on my build thread it might have been me. ;) To bad to hear about the flimsy bracket, if it is lightweight it might hold up?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Nissan Frontier.... Long bed or short bed?

Quite a difference in the wheelbases.... 131" for the long bed, 116" for the shorter bed. I was actually OK with the idea of having the shorter Finch or Falcon model on there. Hmmm, maybe the short-bed then? The Falcon is way small, how much would Finch hang off the back?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Jack Brackets

Do you know if they should be torqued? Do you know the inch/lbs or foot lbs for the torque? I guess by torqued I was thinking anything more than finger tight, whatever the proper tightness would be on these.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Jack Brackets

I went over the rest of them and finger tighten them in, most were backed off by a quarter to half a turn. They were ''finger'' loose by half a turn! :o Maybe they were never torqued in at the factory?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Nissan Frontier.... Long bed or short bed?

What is the wheelbase difference between the two? If you are wanting to put a camper on the truck I would go for the long-bed. It will handle a camper much better than the short bed will.
