It was great to see your rig as you came up the shore. Sounds like you camped at a couple of the nice lakes up here. Teddy Roosevelt NP is a great place. I like the north unit the best, although the campground in the south unit is fun when the bison are roaming through. When we camped there...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Current Spike in Gas Prices

Midwest tends to be lower in general I've seen, but also I wonder on the CO front if the pricing is for 85 octane rather that 87 which would be regular elsewhere? Yes, I have found that the price listed on GassBuddy etc is for the 85. What runs on 85 anyway?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Current Spike in Gas Prices

O.H., Your girl is correct. During the summer months CA requires refineries to provide a cleaner burning gasoline. Typically they switch back to the normal gas in November. The summer blend does cost more. Since it is for CA only, we can't bring in gas from neighboring states to help during a...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Current Spike in Gas Prices

My girl mentioned there being something special about California gas, even the regular, and the refineries are having problems. So there is a shortage of "California" gas. Anybody confirm this?

    - no moose though. Our moose population is in trouble. Sad to see them go. A few different factors, but the main one is a warmer climate with a growing deer population. On a winter drive up the Gunflint you still have a chance to see a moose, but the rest of the year they are scarce at best.

Good thing we went when we did. Today finds 30 mph winds with snow and rain mixed in for the area we visited. A week later and the wind has not stopped blowing. Gale winds will continue to blow out on the lake for the next few days. November has come early. <_< Glad you had a good time...

.Through Minnesota saw several FWCs. One of those was me! And I spotted you! I was shocked to recognize your rig as you came into Grand Marais, yes that was me waving like a lunatic. I would have turned around and run you down but we were just leaving town and needed to put some miles...

How you vent will also have an impact on how much air circulates. Two openings, one low and one high will move much more air than a single opening in a window.

I was going to suggest using the Zodi stove top unit. .... dig out your Heat & Mass Transfer text book (everyone has one of those in their light reading library, right?) .... No. But I bet you have it. :)
