Total pop-up material replacement - purchasing to finishing

Both of you are asking very similar questions. Yes I did shorten the bottom brackets bit to not intrude as much as initially. Still they poke out about an inch or so. Its actually no big deal at all, I did file the corner and they just kind of poke into the mattress area. No real issues. you...

Total pop-up material replacement - purchasing to finishing

To my knowledge, no the metal lifters where never used by FWC. I actually wrote them once and showed them the emt and whoever responded thought it was pretty neat. I have seen some other videos about the lifters and even made one myself:) Let me know if you have any questions about it.

    FWC Keystone Roof Help

Conduit is working well for me. Others have also made panels. to pretty good success. it took one member, pokybro, two attempts but he clearly outlines what the issue was and paves the way nicely for others to follow.

Flawk project: Turning a fleet into a hawk

Lostwon, Any updates on the build? I have been looking into fireplaces a bit as well. Would love one of the mini wood burning stoves but currently putting that idea on hold. What is your plan for a chimney working with the pop up? I just purchased a big buddy to supplement/replace my wave 3...

    84 Fleet - 09 Tacoma - Project

As always, thank you. thank you. The support really motivates me to make more videos. I am hoping my shoulder blade is fully healed within a few weeks so I will be back to getting the gally finished up. Ski season is still off to a very slow start here in Colorado so it was nice of mother...

1980 FWC Keystone - Getting this old beast up to par.

JDP. I was in the exact same boat as you for a while, working in parking lots. I luckily also had a guest room to put stuff in, but my wife really did not find that too amusing. Luckily I now have an awesome garage that I currently sit in while I type. Sounds like you are tackling projects in...

Four Wheel Blazer Pop-up, Finally found one

That is looking good! Is there any rubber or foam or anything that also goes on that seal? Or will it be a permanent sealant like silcone?

That old ad is awesome. Lets assume it was 1970! Then according to this, http://www.in2013dollars.com/1970-dollars-in-2017?amount=4000, the old keystone cost 21,000 in todays moneies. Four wheel has done a pretty good job of keeping price relatively constant while improving quality. Kudo's...

Replacing the front slider window on a 2007 Eagle

Try 5 star RV in Brighton Colorado. They have a massive salvage lot and might be able to hunt one down and ship to you. Also could look into replacing just glass on current window if that is the issue? Good luck. http://www.fivestarrvgroup.com/

    New Headliner Installation Question

I put my linear up in two halves. The seam hides really nicely under the wood planks so I really don't see much reason not to stay with two halves. Will make it less of a bear to install. The glue gets tacky in about 3 minutes and you have about 10 total minutes to make adjustments. And...

You are too kind. First I think I started to enjoy building the camper more than using it. Now I think I am starting to enjoy making videos even more than building. It's a lot of fun! I'll keep them coming. Video of the door rebuild is in the works, it was a smaller of a project.

That the plan. Glad you enjoyed! Great! Looking forward to seeing what you do. My roof was entirely off at one point in time too. Surprisingly light :) What do you mean issues when the arise???? I hope not!! Joking of course. I am sure I will find issues and ill tackle them as they come. I...

    84 Fleet - 09 Tacoma - Project

Tim, Great job on yet another video how-to. I'm sure seeing how things came together for you will help others in the future. I must have gotten lucky when I chose to sew my four panels together with machine, into one round piece vs your hand sewing the last seam once on the camper. As you...
