The people at FWC said you can leave the thermal pack on when you collapse the top. I'm not the biggest or best person to sew something like that together and I'm thrilled that FWC is not only customizing the length of my vinyl but the thermal pack too to 6'9" . I do like the army blanket idea...

My trailer is a M416 military 1/4 ton Jeep trailer. Made the same year of my birth ;1966. It was an empty shell in poor condition when we met but has undergone a full recovery and upgraded to become an excellent off road trailer. The people in the pix aren't me, I have antlers.

Thanks y'all. I finally found out my payload capacity. It's 1,870 lbs. with a loaded Hawk, a 36 gallon tank, 20 gal water plus my upgrades, me and the dog, Engel 45, etc, I'm looking at being about 350-500 lbs over. Is that acceptable or am I about to screw myself? Thanks

How does one go about winterizing their FWC? , mine will be a Hawk. I'd like to know for those future moments of being in very cold places how I can proactively protect my inboard H20 system. Thanks, Dan

Can the slide out bed in the Hawk be kept in the extended position when the top is down and traveling, or would it interfere with ceiling stuff? I'm wondering if it would be a good place to store my rolled out sleeping bag or pillows lengthwise east to west. Thanks Dan
