Pulling a trailer while carrying a FWC

It is not, but I used to own an older one made from marine plywood and covered in Naugahyde and I would buy a new one if they weren't so darn expensive. I looked at their website the other day. http://folbot.com

    Introduction

Hello Bill, I just placed my order this morning for a Four wheel camper Hawk. I am very excited. I'm new here too at this site, but welcome! There is a wealth of 1st hand advice from many of the members here. I've found answers to all of the questions and then some before making any decisions on...

    Fantastic fan location?

I'm thinking I'm gonna put the Fantastic fan over the kitchen area, and I've got an additional two if needed 12volt clamp on fans I picked up at Wally World for $11.00 each. I'm thinking I can clamp one to the forward lift assist above the over cab bed. The fans also oscillate.

options I would like to see

One thing they're doing for me that's not even on the options list is raising the flexible vinyl material and hinged panels to an inside height of 6'9" as well as extending the length of the thermal pack. For this I am extremely grateful. I am 6'9" tall and by not having to duck every time I'm...

    Silver Spur option question

I'm sure I will be pleased with the camper I get. I am sure it will out perform my RTT by many many leagues. I think I can live with a charcoal grey stripe. That at least will match my truck. It's all of the goodies combined which I am excited about, and of course all the new adventures waiting...

    Roadmaster Active Suspension

Thank you Stan, could I possibly ask why? Is there something wrong with their product? When I watched their video and after it was finished the screen filled up with other YouTube videos to watch and there was Tom doing his Aluminess video. It seemed like they were connected to y'all in some...

options I would like to see

An option I'd like to see is other color offers and not to charge the customer $500 for it...that's just silly. Don't get me wrong, I love FWC and I'm about to buy a new one but so much money for a color change seems, well... How are the Europeans more stylish than us?

    Stock aluminum or Yakima racks

I already have Yakima bars and yak mounts on my ARE topper and could easily switch them over. I too looked but never found aluminum bars that'd fit the Yakima towers there like an 1&1/8" in diameter.. It certainly would help with weight concerns, but I still think there is an issue with height...

Pulling a trailer while carrying a FWC

Does anybody on this forum pull an additional trailer while also hauling a FWC? What do you haul in there, do you think it's good for extra gear and boats or is it just another dirty highway anchor? Some things I might consider is carrying a canoe down below the roof line of my truck to avoid...

    Canoe or kayak on FWC

Who travels with a kayak or canoe on top of your FWC? Does it kill your mileage? I'm ordering the Hawk with the aluminum racks because they look shorter than the Yakima system and because I'll be able to mount my solar panel easier and install a outdoor shower stall based on something I saw...

options I would like to see

There are a lot of hybrid camper trailers that maybe evolved from the Bethany and pop up trailers. To me it's just another easy way in for either a hungry bear or a barely human.

options I would like to see

They ignite with two D Batteries, and it runs from the pump. I'm opting to get just the outside shower hookup and no heater. I can appreciate the need for an additional 6 gallons which the stock water heater holds, but I can carry an extra 5 in a jerrycan.
