    Deaver Springs

good review Cort! How does the truck feel when empty? In my case, which might be similar to yours, my truck has a cap on it for 90% of the time. During the summer i might leave the camper on for a few months at a time. Its always a delicate balance trying to find the sweet spot between the two...

    Deaver Springs

Cort, Did you do any mods to the front suspension? RJ Yes I did. I installed the Medium Duty OME coils and the Adjustable Bilstein 5100's. Made a huge difference. The combo completely eliminated the brake dive that is common in Tacoma's. I think people ignore the front end to often Cort

    Deaver Springs

No problem....let me know if you have any other questions. I have been driving the truck for a week now without the camper on and while it is a bit rough, especially when compared to a wimpy stock Taco Suspension, it is not horrible. Still no complaints, Cort Cort, thanks much for the great...

    Truck Without Camper

They did a good job with the Spring Arch. With the suspension mods I did in the front (EMU coils and Bilstein 5100's) I ended up with roughly a 2-inch lift. I think they matched it pretty well

    Deaver Springs

The idea was to install a custom pack of springs that would eliminate the "need" for air bags. The springs that Deaver built for me are capable of carrying my camper fully loaded. They are not production Deaver Springs we are talking about. You are correct if you buy them from an offroad shop...

    Hey Deer Hunters...

Just returned from a run over Sherman pass out of Kernville. We came across a couple groups of hunters and not much trash so I'll deviate a little off topic. My question is why wear a bright orange vest over camo? Is the idea to be seen or hidden or do hunters think they can have it both ways...

    WTW October Pork Rally

Well you know I am mostly just messing around... It was a great time and the food was awesome. I had to stay "somewhat" responsible as it was up to Marc and I to make sure the pig got turned every few minutes. I did not take many pics at the rally that others have not already posted. I was...

My new Eagle on 2008 tocoma

I have a 2001 Tacoma, V6, ExtraCab, ARB front bumper, Custom rear bumper and rack. I have been through a couple iterations now and am finally happy. I run the EMU's in the front with the Bilstein 5100's. rears are custom 10 pack Deavers, Ride Rite Airbags (the weak link), and Bilstein 5100's...

    On The Road

.Well I ended up staying at Jalama. Weather was great and it wasn't super crowed but deffenitely more than I am used to. The folks there are super dog friendly andlet me know where I could let my furry companion off the leash to get some excercise. Iheaded out early in the am and headed down...

    On The Road

Cort, If u dont mind staying in a Campground, I would suggest Jalama Beach in N. Santa Barbara County. Fairly isolated as far as campgrounds go and you can run dogs on the beach. Google it and u will find pics and directions. I like this place during the winter because it is usually fairly...

    On The Road

Well I am hitting the road on my way to Santa Ana to get my Deaver Springs put on. It's been a long time since I have been to SoCal (grew up in Agoura Hills) and could use some suggestions on a good place to overnight that is within a 3 or 4 hours of Santa Ana. I am thinking of heading down...

I agree! I have talked to Jeff a few times so he could get an idea of what kind of driving I do and what my weight requirements are. I will be traveling down to Deaver's with my rig set up for a typical week long trip so that we can get the setup just right. I would much rather have them...
