    Propane Regulator

Mine does seem resolved, passed the test again this morning. The bubble sounds like a fuel flow interruption, a guess would be air? Tank purged? Or would it be some fluctuation caused by the regulator sticking? I never heard any sounds but I'm 1/2 deaf so it may have been. Perhaps mine also...

    Propane Regulator

I did take it off when I got home and the vent seemed good. It had a cap over the spring and it seemed adjustable in that spring tension could be changed by how far down you screwed the spring cover. I left it about where it was, don't want to create any fireballs, may have given it a slight...

    Propane Regulator

The last couple trips I have discovered that when I started cooking coffee in the morning my propane (Wave) heater would go out. Both the stove and heater work fine by themselves so my hypothesis is that they just isn't enough gas flowing to feed both at the same time. I presume that means a...

    Camp Lite 10?

Guess who got married? All kidding aside this is what you want. Four seasons with full shower and cool a/c :D Not sure if I want to go big, in fact I know I'd rather not but sweetie prefers an inside shower. I'll keep looking for a Keystone model that will fit my truck. I'm very happy with...

    Winter!

Yeah! Glad to get a couple of inches of snow out of this system instead of just wind. Did you see the dust plume from White Sands on the satellite images during the wind event last week? It stretched all the way to the Oklahoma panhandle. Missed that but glad you got a bit of precipitation...

    Winter!

Winter returns, out dual sporting today and rode to Emory Pass in the Black Range of the Gila NF today and got some good snow squalls. Elevation 8800+', electric gear kept us reasonably warm on the bikes.

Help Me Decide Where To Go This September

On your way you might want to go through the Black Hills, beautiful area and some decent Forest Service campsites, Spearfish Canyon, etc. Also Badlands NP has a more remote campground and Devils Tower is a cool place. Might also want to at least go through Rocky Mountain NP via Fall River Road...

Before I Buy Used Grandby - Need Advice

I saw them build and install the lifter panels, it's an exacting job, that took several hands holding things in place. Those spring loaded hinges are wicked powerful. I thought about doing it but not an easy job and eventually I had FWC do it. Add it to the price of the deal, $400+

French Press for me, usually grind beans @ home before a trip. Same here, just moved to a larger press. I like good coffee but grinding beans on the road is too much for me

    Best truck for an Eagle/Bobcat?

I'm starting to look for a truck that can handle an eagle/bobcat while getting the best mileage possible. The camper will be on the truck almost all the time and I will be traveling solo most of the time. I'm thinking an F150, Dodge 1500, etc. and an Eagle or bobcat with many amenities (will be...

Flattbed / Service bed for Dodge

After calling some dealers today, it looks like the idea may not work. Either a flatbed or service bed will put the bed up to 5 inches taller than the standard bed. That would put the camper up too high over the cab, like when I had the Hawk on a 2001 Tundra. Had I had the flatbed or bed first...

    life change and a FWC?

You just have to vent it more. How much more? Well, what's the difference in BTU output between Low and High? If it's, say, 2x, then you need 2x more air coming in (and going out). (end hijack?) There is a big difference, 1600 vs 3000 btu

    life change and a FWC?

BARK01 - I love that motorcycle rack of yours. I'd love to bring my dual sport with me without having to carry it on a trailer. I imagine the weight of the rack and bike would put me in a 3/4 ton truck for sure, but it might be well be worth it. Could get some bags for my dual sport for...

    Current Spike in Gas Prices

We live on the edge of a recreation area, so besides being in California our gas prices are high. When we watch the news about gas prices, the national average looks darn good to us. We always have plans penciled in on places we'd like to visit. These current prices will definitely affect our...

    life change and a FWC?

any recommendations you have would be greatly appreciated: My thoughts would be to get something big enough to store some of your stuff since you plan on being in it for awhile. Read some of the threads on trucks, taco, 150, 250, gas, diesel. I and many others love our 12v high efficiency...

    All 4 NA Deserts

My new wife :D is from the Midwest, just moved in with me in NM, and I thought an introduction to the North American deserts was in order. We had no definite plan, a few options, and it ended up that we went to the Chircahua NM, then Organ Pipe NM. In Organ Pipe head for the Alamo Canyon...

    Outside shower using existing pump?

Let us know about the 12v transfer pump. I carry two 5 gallon water cans (military type) and am looking for an easy way to transfer them to the campers main water tank. Just back from a 2500 mile 11 day trip through the 4 major North American deserts and a quick trek through S. Utah thrown in...
