Yep. Pretty amazing. Thanks for this. I've seen similar behaviour in really big flocks of dunlin and western sandpipers off the shore of SW British Columbia. Always wonder how they manage not to impale one another. Precision flying and long beaks seem kinda tricky.

Thanks for report. That's amazing country. I spent a week backpacking along the shore in Pukaskwa National Park in Canada some years ago and found it the most challenging terrain I've ever hiked. I can only imagine what it would be like in winter.
