Keep your eyes on CL for those who are parting out an AK. There was one up somewhere on I-5 or 99 that had almost all the stuff, including the sink awhile age...might still be there. Some elbow grease and,,,voila!....you have a perfectly good sink!

If you have one of those Camping World or RV repair facilities in the south Bay, take that gasket with you. It may be a standard type roof vent seal which they may have. I think the old Lance I had used a similar type seal so maybe a Lance Parts website would show the same one as you have.

Maybe a "service body" would work for you? Knapheide or one of those companies that specialize in building a service body for pickups would have one for the 2000 Tacoma or, maybe they can build you one?

I think you will be OK with just raising up the AK to clear the box rails. I think it is new enough so sliding it in between the tailgate will not require rebuilding the back section of the AK to fit. I think if you go up 3" or so you will not only clear the bed rails but the top of the truck...

These came from a 1978 Lance CO. I had them professionally recovered maybe ten years ago and they have not been torn up or abused since then. Not a lot of use at all. Covered in a blue velour-type ribbed fabric, they are in VERY good or better condition. Free to a good home if yours are kaput...
