MEXICO - DAY 7 - Creel, Mexico Major city in the area. The Tarahumara Native Americans are very present in this area. Their baskets, dolls and drums are very nice crafts. Most still live in caves or small adobe houses. The roads along most of this trip are quite dangerous. There are many shrines...

DAY 4 - Cueva Grande (Cliff Dweller Caves). Nestled in a corner of the mountain, covered by a waterfall, the rock shelter contains at least nine rooms distributed around a small plaza that contained two grain vessels to store corn. It is certainly one of the oldest human occupatied areas of the...

MEXICO - DAY 2 - LA CUEVA DE LA OLLA (Valley of the Caves). Grainery and Pueblo style ruins. You may hike up and through these caves and far back into more dwellings. Very interesting place. One of the particularities of the Valle de las Cuevas (valley of the caves) is the presence of a site...

Pictures of Hacienda de San Diego. Awesome old mansion built in the late 1800's to early 1900's. The family living in the home has been in living in the home for over a hundred years. They have been slowly restoring it. After 70 years the Mexican government has finally granted them title to the...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West anyone using RAM 2500 6.4L Hemi?

Had the dealer reset the tire pressure monitoring to 60 psi. Now I can drop the pressure when empty and not have that stupid light telling me my tires are low.

Took the ram on a 700 mile quick trip running empty. Was curious what kind of mpg I could get running empty. Average overall was 16.7 mpg. Going down was better than 18 mpg holding speed at 75mph on cruise. Coming home kicked the speed up cruising a little over 80. Couldn't be happier. really...

Finally had enough miles on her to go for the big test. Fully loaded 17800# pulling Parleys Canyon 9 miles @ 6 and 7 pct. grade. Pulled a lot harder than I thought it would. Just have to get used to having the engine revving so high. Just let her do her thing and it will do it.

Thanks. I like the color also, matches the accents on the camper and the 5th wheel. Yes the suspension is stock. The truck settled 2" with the camper on. Ride is solid and very stable as it is.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Anyone familiar with Hallmarks optimized for off-road, off-the-grid use?

Dog, I run a Northstar TC850SC on a 2000 dodge 2500 shortbed. Love the setup. I travel quite a bit off road and have not had a single issue with the camper construction. The TC800 with the flip out side wall would pretty much hit your wish list. I run solar on mine but instead of roof mount I...
