A little more progress. Starting to do a lot of the finish work on the inside. This pic is showing the “galley” portion of the FWC. With my fold down prep table. Keeping the “open concept” FWC build I am trying to achieve. Battery access panel. There is a little square bolt just below the...

Nice Video Tim I have used the buddy heater in my wildernest for the last 4-5 years. At this point the buddy heater has a lot of issues. My advice is to buy a case for the buddy heater, and use it while not in use. Dust is your enemy for the filament. That and use one of those stupid buddy...

Backdoor semi finished. Showing Door Stop Beer Bear Two porch lights, (want to put a orange lens in one of them. Or hook one up to my backup lights.) I like the paddle lock a lot more than the old school knob I had on it before. The Deadbolt is more of a bonus, from my afterthought.

Still need to add a strap to hold these in up when needed. I also have a few different sized coolers that will fit the space in the front.

Added a strip of wood on the floor in a strategic place. We were able to get 5 adults and a dog hanging out in the FWC on New Years Eve with relative ease with this configuration with a Paco Pad across the front.

Thanks Shell. I have been slightly mono-focused on finishing the camper to a certain level before I start work. Worked on the lower bed today. Added some thin carpet to the plywood. This will make it a little easier to manipulate into different configurations.

Made a access panel with a key turn lock out of some left over Diamond plating I had. Porch light installed. Power converter face, cigarette adaptor, 2 USB ports, and a display to show my battery lvl. Thermostat, and master switch. I am going to add an extra furnace duct out the face of this...

My On/Off process takes me about 30 mins by myself. If I have a little help, it helps with my stress factor.

Wish I would have installed a deadbolt lock, while I had the door torn apart. I worry that my door will Houdini itself open while I am driving down the road. I do have a deadbolt laying around from when I remodeled my house. Maybe I install the deadbolt into the door knob area I have now, and...

Pokey I currently went with a 4 1/2” bolts through the floor pack, although I will eventually do a more bombproof 2 plated system to lose the nut on the inside of the camper.

Had to cut the Westin bed mat a little to accommodate the Super Strut tie down points.

Well it has been a month since I bought my FWC, and I have spent a lot of time on it. Going with the Super Strut tie down method that Bill M mentions on this site.

Thanks Tim Everyone here has been super supportive, and I still have plenty to finish. Luckily it rained the first night, and there is a roof leak. So I will need to work on the upper section soon. But at least I will be able to use my garage a little more. Next is working on the tie down...
