Oh, and no hot water heater. Why? I can't think of a time ever when I have wanted or needed hot water out of a tap while camping. If we really want some we can heat water on the stove. Otherwise it is a bunch of extra weight and complexity that we just don't need in this camper.

Ugh, this has been a frustrating experience. I hope having the camper is a better experience than buying it has been. Between the closest dealerships being 650 miles away, and the poor service at one of them, and the bank throwing fits about the unbuilt camper and needing to get a serial...

Ugh, that is hideous. To each their own. :) Thankfully they have the option to pay extra and get the European colors. May be the best $$$ add-on in my whole build.. ;)

So I am reading all these and wondering, as I place my order for a shiny new FWC - what *should* I be doing? I am ordering the two battery set-up. I have a 2008 Chevy 1500. What should I do to set this deal up? What happens with the "factory" install with regards to the connect to truck...
