RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West King Bed Upgrade size?

Gotta be honest... Have not yet been out overnight in the camper. I have pulled the bed all the way out and tried it out. It seems really nice and is certainly spacious. The Eclipse in Nebraska was our last camping adventure before my kids went back to school. We camped using our Roof Top Tent...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Back Wall Ladder Rack?

Has anyone here seen a ladder rack/holder installed on the back wall of a FWC? Anyone have opinions on doing it? Thinking of something like this Photoshopped image...

My Little Giant 3 step aluminum ladder just arrived. It is surprisingly stable and provides great access to the camper but is a little bigger (and heavier) than I expected. I think I might modify it like the others who have removed the fold away hand rail to save some weight. I already have one...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Long hot summer has me thinking...

I ordered my new Hawk with the factory installed air conditioner in the back wall of the camper. It is a Frigidaire 5,000 BTU window-mounted unit. I've already made good use of it as I modified the front overhang to hold a stainless camp table in the 82 degree 85% humidity Minnesota summer.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West New FWC Hawk in Minnesota

My first modification to the Hawk is installing Front Runner Under-Rack Table Slides to the front over hang of the camper (nicely documented by Jonathan Hanson on his Exploring Overland website). This allows the Front Runner Stainless Steel Camp Table to be stowed under the front overhang while...

No Problems fitting the camper into the pickup bed. It fits nicely and only squatted the rear suspension about 3".

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West King Bed Upgrade size?

Hello Everyone, I just ordered a FWC Hawk (from Sean at Go Anywhere in Wisconsin) and have a question (probably not my last) about the dimensions of the bed before and after after sliding it out. I ordered the King Bed upgrade and presume that the quick sketch I made here accurately depicts the...
