Actually nothing on your truck is 24V. The factory dual batteries in your truck are wired in parallel resulting in higher avaliable amperage while still operating at approx. 12 volts. Hate for you to buy something for a 24v system and be screwed.... As for the camper - stick with the propane...

12v is really not practical for a stove. You could do a microwave if you keep the usage short. Sorry to hear about your bad experience with propane. Keep in mind though that millions use it all the time with no problems. Of course if you don't mind spending the big bucks, theres always diesel...

Get counseling. Keep the propane. Learn about leak detection and CO detectors. Be well. Got CO detector, know how to use propane-just prefer not too.. and I travel with my 3 kids and 2 small dogs.. so anything I can do to make it safer for them, I will.. even if it means loosing the stove...

Been less than a week since I bought my FWC- still not sure exactly which model or year it is, the serial plate is completely warn off. Based on where the Propane tank location(Drivers side near front)its an early 90's can't be older or it wouldn't fit my truck width. Problem- I dont like...

Just did a few small trips. 99 ford 7.3 diesel 2wd stick shift. No camper 21 mpg. With grandby fully loaded on truck and pulling mountain pass got 18 mpg. I'm very happy with he setup and mileage. Think it might do a little better if i spent less % of miles in the mountains . AFE Premium Air...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Total pop-up fabric replacement; Options?

We had the guys at All Terrain Campers replace the side liner material, replace a lift panel, repair the other, reseal the roof, and a couple of other minor items. They did a great job at a very reasonable price, and it was done in a short time. We would highly recommend these guys. It was good...

I bought the camper :) defiantly has wear n tear damage to it.. got some cosmetic repairs in both inside and out.. door needs replacing-missing very bottom metal piece.. canvas looks nearly new.. the worry about the damage from sitting on the side rail is nil, it was only mounted to take those...

I really have a hard time relying on a manual come along to pull these heavy rigs out of trouble. Maybe in some light duty situations they might be of some value. If you are stuck "hard".....and weight in excess of 10,000 pounds.....the come along will be useless. Which is the reason I am...

Camper is absolutely not supposed to rest on the bed rail, bad for both truck and camper. I'd look that camper over very well before considering it. I'm actually driving out to Wichita next Friday to get this one.. IF its in the condition that he said it is in. I've already spoken to Terry @...

I don't see any provision to open if from the inside when it's down, that is the part I'm trying to do. Just having over lapping doors isn't the issue. I'll ask the lady on the next street about that tomorrow, she has a Hi-Lo sitting in her yard, and I know she said you could use areas of...

Hey Addie what kind of truck do you have ? a short bed with 6.5' feet long ? 1/2 ton truck or a 3/4 ton truck ? the Keystone is LONG for a short bed truck. and kind of big and heavy for a 1/2 ton truck. The guy selling the camper isn't showing how far it is sticking out on his short...

Need some thoughts here on how to open the outer door when the top is down and thus the inner door is blocking it. I was thinking of using basic trimark RV handles like this: My door thickness is 2", since the above handles are for 1.25-1.5" doors that helps me out so I can recess the inner...
