    Congrats on the new rig! If you aren't already aware, you'll have to buy the hinge bracket thingy (technical term :-)for the front jacks to make them swing a few inches wider so you can back the truck up. They work great.

    One question on using a camper base: Does this only work on level ground? Is there any way to use a base on a slope? I go to a lot of campgrounds where the parking pad/spur is not very level. Not a problem when I put levaling blocks under the tires but not sure if I could use a base in this...

    I'm 6'5" so I need to pull out the slider so I can sleep diagonally. I spent one night on the fold down 'couch' and probably won't do that again except for quick naps.

    Back to the topic... What's a "binder". I'd also like to know if there are alternatives to the turnbuckles. They are annoying to remove and replace every time. I would love to have something that used a simple ratcheting mechanism to tighten, or something similar.
