I look forward to see your pics of the install. I should have done a write up for installing my airbags and the Hawk but was too caught up in just getting it knocked out.

I was able to play with the Hawk today and believe the culprit of the smell was the fridge. The gentleman I purchased it from said he replaced the fridge last year and never used it. I will be contacting the Dometic tomorrow. Thank you everyone for your help.

So I currently have E rated tires and will throw on the airbags and give it go. I am also planning on removing one of the batteries and propane tanks along with the jack stands. Is there anything else anyone would recommend doing to shave down the weight?

I checked my propane tanks and they are not leaking and have no lighters or aerosol cans. Checked the sink and there is nothing in there. I will be messing with the camper tomorrow after work and will post my findings. Once again thank you everyone for your help and tips.

I will trouble shoot each system at a time and see what is the issue.

What am I looking for? Is it just a sniff test?

The fridge was running on AC power. The propane was turned off after the alarm went off the first time. Only the propane light was illuminated and there was no smell. Hours later was when the smell along with both the propane and carbon monoxide lights were illuminated.

I have the manufacturer's statement of origin and it also states the shipping weight is 1275lbs. I have airbags coming in the mail and was going to order a sway bar but after seeing the weight of my truck without my wife, daughter and gear I am not sure I would feel comfortable being 1000lbs...

It says 1275 but I have a feeling it's more. Picked it up on Friday and had not installed the eye bolts because I didn't have them yet. Took it nice and slow and now it sits off the truck while I decide which route to take.
