RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Heading to the Moab Area, May 15th

Nice pics. Using the picnic table for camper support is a great idea. We were in Moab May 13 & 14 and I saw more ORVs in those two days than I've seen the rest of my life. You're in Eugene? We're out past Fern Ridge dam. See ya on the road. Llamas I would not hang out in the camper when...

Thanks! I think I need to get some bags or overload springs though. ends up sagging a little more then I woudl like in the rear. The problem is I do not want to loose any of the articulation by adding bags. I am not as concerns about the stiffness of the ride without the camper on as I am...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Took the Eagle Camping over the weekend

Found some great back roads south east of Eugene this past weekend. Some of the logging roads were snow packed in places and dozens of down logs that we had to either go over or pull out of the way,all for the purpose of seeing what was at the end of the road. turns out, just more down logs...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West b team eagle camper wire job

I ended up using some small chunks of ledger angle under the truck bed frame. should distribute the load right down to the truck frame. I will need to beef up the camper next. the thought of that thing coming off while heading up some steep bumpy gravel road is terrible.

That looks sturdy. I have an 07' Nissan frontier with a similar set up. really worth it if you take out on the trails at all. Though with the Eagle Camper I am going to need to get some new rear leafs to raise the load and keep the ride quality.
