thanks- great thread. i got it done yesterday. it took about an hour. i am going to have to trim the bed slide a bit( just knock the corner down.) what a difference. ----------jw

tomorrow i plan on installing a roof lift assist in my eagle. i got the kit from fwc. it's gonna be tight between the brackets and the bed slide. it looks like i have to sand the bed slide down a bit. the roof bracket looks to be easy. anyone else do this install? - jw

all- i forgot to mention - on the trip i saw 1. hawk? on a tundra on the mckenzie river 2. fwc on the oxbow on the or/ id line and 3. a loaded grandby on my way south into joseph. got one wave and passed by the others at speed. ---------------jw

i like coos bay- moved out here for a job ten years ago. plenty of outdoor recreation all year long. not too far from the cities, but far enough. wet winters aren't too bad, but the summer nw winds beat me down. my biggest problem- the pizza is terrible.

free beer- i'll be there in ten minutes. nah- we hope to get up there around six or so and hit a brewery tonight. jw

this trip we are heading northeast and looping back down the gorge. bend, john day towards the wallowas- it's a bit of oregon i haven't seen. hope to get to the southeast on another trip.- jw

just got the fwc out of the garage and onto the truck. first time after install and it went well. heading to eastern oregon for a week to explore. it's been wet in southwest oregon- looking forward to dry weather. really looking forward to hitting terminal gravity brewing in Enterprise. see...

Looks like a great guy! Does he like snow? This week I'm taking my new one and 3 others to Big Bend, 4 in the truck :lol: We haven't been up to the snow yet. I can tell you he's one heck of a beach dog. We take him several days a week and he never wants to leave. -jw

my girlfriend and i rescued this puppy 4 months ago from the county shelter. he's 7 months old now. hard to believe, but we were the 4th family to have him. from what i hear the 2nd and 3rd families were abusive. he adjusted well to us. he has been a great dog- look forward to wandering w/ him...

It was a great summer with the eagle. It's been raining here for two weeks. It was time to get it off the truck and inside. Got some great info here on how to build a dolly. We'll wake it up in March or so. - jw
