Like the others said, it's great - I love it. A good solid program and it's free. Definitely sufficient enough for the average person's needs. A bit tedious, but pretty great for planning/fitting future mods without tearing everything apart.

Has anyone already done a rendering in SketchUp? Sure would save me some time if it were already done...

Well, I've got two out of two mounts that look just like that. Maybe it's my right foot that is the problem (gas pedal). No biggie, it's fixed now.

that's right. The red/black wires in the pic labeled "rear wall" are connected directly to the battery. Those ones are just a straight shot from the plug on the back.

Because you have the controller built-in (like I do), you just have to connect "rear wall" to your battery. There shouldn't be anything needed between your solar controller and the battery.

Did you have a battery installed with wiring from FWC? If not, I ASSUME that one of the coils would go to the relay or controller they use. The solar plug wires are bundled together and are labeled, as you stated, 'rear wall' and 'roof' (see pic). I have panels with a built-in controller...
