We have the driver's side window in our 2014 Hawk shell (with a front dinette that we built) and though you can't see much out of it unless one of us is sleeping down, it does give a feeling of space and connection to the outdoors that we love.

We use our front dinette we built in our Hawk shell every day. Coffee in the morning if it's cold out and after-dinner/before-bed in the evenings for reading,computer or whatever. For us it is completely useful.

Also FYI, the space between the 2 side benches in the shell is 45". Robert
