I was torn between the two as well. I did not like how the galley is not as open in the side dinette, particularly when entering the door. I also like the bigger seating area with the front dinette, and the tons of extra storage. Each one has pro's and con's. I spent a lot of time in each one...

I guess that's not too bad. My only fear is drilling into the body of the camper. Maybe someone who has a Batwing installed can chime in with measurements.

I am going with Wilco because Aluminess and others don't offer the right bumper for my Titan. It looks like Wilco just raised prices. Wasn't it just $845.00?

You can get a cassette toilet with or without interior shower in a slide in Hawk.It was incorectly stated in the article that it is only available in the Flatbed model Hawk.

I noticed that other Taco parked next to yours is a Woolrich Editon....those look soooo nice with the smooth aluminum. I asked FWC if they could do that for regular production, but they said no can do. Too bad because smooth aluminum in Silver Spur would be a great combination.

When I discussed with Pete @ FWC he said that I would definitely want a second battery with the 130 Liter fridge that I am ordering my Hawk with. So I guess it depends on if you are getting a compressor fridge, and what size.

If you don't mind me asking, why are you selling. I think you mentioned your family was growing. Did you find the Hawk to be too small and need to upgrade to a different brand of camper? I am currently looking at Front Dinette Hawk and Hallmark Millner. A tough choice.
