RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Turnbuckle door screens

I'm a procrastinator and here in Texas I use AC a lot in my Hawk ;) I purchased my screens but not installed as yet. I am kind of waiting to take camper out and do it. That said I have no foreseeable reason to take out. Has anyone installed while camper in truck... have any tips? Thanks!

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New FWC Solar Panels

I realize the FWC crew are the experts but I have friends that have had issues with flexible. One even lost his entire panel as he did not secure properly I guess... he swears he did. Also think, here in TX anyway, that some have had heat related issues? I know there is probably a weight savings...

That's a lot of truck for a receiver mounted hitch. However, should work great for a tug to get you moving again!

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Additional Solar Panel.

Hey Guys and gals... quick question... If I add another Panel on top do I need to run an additional line to the Zamp Controller or is there a way to just attach to the already ran cables? I know there is a hookup on the rear but don't want to run cable to it.... save it for a 3rd in bad times :)

Has anyone replaced their sliding door yet? On my 2015 Hawk it dry rotted from UV I imagine and cracked. I have only found a white replacement would really like the clear one.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Warn hidden mount winch

As with any recovery tool a winch needs to be used properly. As all have stated proper and ease of use is important. Up until last weekend I used mine mostly for others to pull them out. However in slippery mud last weekend I had to pull myself out twice. I did learn that I will go with...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Best type of rug for camper?

Yep I go to Lowes and buy their feels like felt has rubber backing runner carpet. The kind they have on roll and cut to your length. Can cut for around cabinets and such... does not fray. At like a buck a foot I can replace every season. Oh and dog hair does not stick at well ;) I just pull out...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West FWC Arctic liner

I use mine installed full time too. Here in TX it can get hot ;) I even added vent covers made of same material. The sun shining through even tinted covers was immense. So adding the material covers not only created shade on bed and kitchen but did cool it off. I can only imagine that the liner...
