RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West FWC *indoor* shower owners: how is it? Likes / Dislikes?

Thanks for the thoughts... we always have other utility 'jugs' of water, plus a case of big water bottles, so we always have plenty of water. plus we do very short 'submarine' showers (mostly off, except for rinsing) often we are nowhere near a YMCA or campground... nice to have a quick...

FWC *indoor* shower owners: how is it? Likes / Dislikes? Hi all We are looking at a Granby slide in. (or similar ATC) We’d be using a PortAPotty, so we dont need or want a walled toilet / shower area. Sometimes it would be more convenient to have a quick indoor shower rather than...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Rebuilders in socal who aren't ATC or FWC

seems like an odd choice to bypass either ATC or FWV (who are both clearly experts) and instead go with someone who is far less experienced..... the results are (in my mind) almost guaranteed to be a little or a lot inferior. add up the likely time (and cost) of teaching / mopping up...

Been having fun doing all this research. Thanks everyone for all the great info! So a couple things I am wondering about…. -—> Is the GVWR only a sticker - that relates to a statement for commercial trucking that it’ll never carry more? and nothing else is different about the truck? I...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West ? for F 250 owners - options mods etc on custom ordered 2019

thanks for all the great info everyone. :-) I figured out that to get the 2 front seats with the center console, it seems that you have to get the XLT trim. getting the XLT trim with a few various nice things... adds $5,000. part of that $5,000 is about $1,000 for the front seat center...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West ? for F 250 owners - options mods etc on custom ordered 2019

? for F 250 owners - options mods etc on custom ordered 2019 or 2020 Hi all Considering buying a custom ordered Ford F-250. Gasser for sure. Advantages are: with Super Crew I can still get an 8’ bed. Better for an 8’ custom built ATC Cougar camper. The camper would stay on 99% of the time...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West AGM Battery Recommendation

My experience was pretty dramatic when I upgraded from a flooded to an AGM The AGM would take a charge from solar much much faster and would just generally behave much better. Exact same wires, controller, etc. Did a bunch of research and I ended up buying a LifeLine AGM. It was fantastic.

What fridge? Instant shower? Cougar vs Puma? R6 in floor? Hi all Just spoke with Marty at All Terrain Campers and he was nice, and helpful. For us he recommended a Cougar or Puma, but not with the dinette, but with the side couch instead, for more storage space below, and the most floor...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West FWC Granby Edition in a Tundra with 6.6 truck bed

Thanks - very helpful. Yeah I had heard exactly that about the Eco Boost.... and as the FWC would be on the back the whole time.... mileage would drop. Is the 5.0 V8 a tried and true engine? The only good thing about going with the F150 SuperCrew is that there is a LOT of space in the 2nd...
