yes there is no brake lights, the right and left turn lights are the brake lights, you may find a spot that lights up solid when you step on the brake, but that is likley the wire to the electric brakes on your trailer connection, and won't be used on the camper. only need tail/clearance...

the water fill is located on driver side about midway, gravety fill, I do have electric pump for water to the sinks.

On our older Keystone the water tank is located under the front bench/seat, so it sits center, with a battery on each side, and room for a couple of leveling blocks beteen the tank and batteries. Think the tank is about 16 gallons or so.

whizbang, thought that area looked fimilar, we like to head to steamboat rock state park in the off season and fish banks lake.

what happens alot of times is that the charge wire from the truck is fused or has a breaker close to the truck battery, but the camper battery does not, so if the wire shorts out or rubs on the frame and shorts out it will melt the wire back to the battery in the camper or the weakes spot, power...

Take some measurements to make shure it fits your truck, think its going to be to wide. Check out lift panels, the soft sides, look for water damage, thats some things I would suggest, but mainly make shure it fits in your truck, older campers where wider.

We also use the Weber "Go Anywhere Gas Grill". For camping it works great, no ashes to mess with when done, and easy start n stop :lol:

Just have to be prepared for the white stuff, backup generator 15,000 watt, extra supplies,snowblower, and tractor to dig out with. :D

Looks like 7 pin to me :unsure: , anyways when you replace it, use some dielectric grease on the connections, and they do make a boot that slips over rear of that plug, between the two that should help with corrosion.

I did the simple approch for charging the camper, came off the truck battery with 8gauge wire fused with 50 amp breaker, then wired into a continues duty solenoid, wired so its on when truck is switched on. and wire run to camper from there.

The backup camera I had was mounted to the rear of my camper, it was a wireless remote, had it set up where it stayed on the camper, wired a switch just inside the door, to turn it off and on, then the monitor stayed in the truck, I left it on when going down the road so could see my boat...
