RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West I Am Very Happy To Announce!

Congrats, are you based in Tucson as your avatar image would imply? I am moving back west to Phoenix....only about two hours to Tucson as I recall.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Exterior Light Install

No, actually I meant the one of the driver's side of the camper, but I am now laughing my ass off, while rolling around on the floor so it doesn't really matter. Love the oatmeal, have never seen that one. I can't get the vajay-jay squadron image out of my mind now. Sorry, should have picked...

And the award for best bumper stickers on a 1980's Granby goes too.....MakersTeleMark! Can we get a close up of the Air Force warning sign pleaze? ;)

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Pictures of our "new" Keystone Hard Top Model

So...six pac camper production is on hold for almost six months now and Four wheel Campers is building fancy hard-sided campers.....why not merge production, shut down Six Pac and market everything under Four Wheel?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West ATC Bobcat after one year...

Kodachrome a couple questions if you have time: So is the reflectix in ADDITION to an artick pack or whatever ATC is calling it? Do you feel it would work inside as well as it does out or is reflecting the direct solar gain the major benefit? How long does it take to put it in place and...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Used Camper Alert Thread

    >>Old wide size, cheap. Why are so many in Colorado and not Portland Oregon? FWC was started in Colorado, hence all the older models there. Dave Rowe's (creator of FWC and later Tiger motorhomes) son still runs Phoenix campers from Denver.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West The coolest thing ever

So I thought the Jeep Brute with the Four Wheel Camper at the Overland Expo was the coolest thing I had seen in a longtime. But no, this is the coolest thing.. http://icon4x4.com/overview/fj/models I think a Finch might fit the FJ45, no?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West I'm finally seeing the light on diesel engines and the US auto makers

Wanderers...if you have some cash and an older Toyota truck, why wait for Mahindra, why not convert? http://www.dieseltoyz.com/ Plant Drive will put in a separate veggie oil tank and you are doing what a diesel was mean to...running on plant oil. Fuel up at Costco, turn some heads. I admit...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Pop up camper from the sub continent

Now this here truck is what we are talking about....this thing is a beast, an absolute monster. Dave Rowe who created FWC, was the originator of the Tiger provans, of course. Clearly he had similar feelings about the bed, and the use of interior space. Call me crazy, but I can still see the FWC...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Pop up camper from the sub continent

Maybe off topic, maybe not...pop up camper from India. Reminded me of the XP camper initially. http://www.overlanders.co.in/ Seems kinda...tall. Like the side tent though. Mounted on a Tata pickup.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Four Wheel Camper Classic announcement up

Stan mentioned it in a post a few days ago, FWC new classic model, comparable to ATC's offerings, but slightly cheaper. Looks like the FWC's of old. http://www.truckcampermagazine.com/tcm-exclusive:-2010-four-wheel-camper-classic/ Adjusted for inflation its almost exactly what Four Wheel...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Swampy Air Coolers

Has anyone ever installed a turbokool on a fwc or atc? They are "only" 16 lbs, and fit any 14x14 vent, will run indefinitely with a panel. As I am still a poser ( still waiting for the perfect used fwc to pop up, yuk yuk) I have no idea if lifting another 16 lbs is possible without a lift assist...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West WTB: Blazer Model FWC

It's not a FWC but Dave Rowe's son (he started Four Wheel Campers back in the early seventies) still runs Phoenix Campers, and will build custom pop up campers, including ones that would fit on a Blazer. May be out of your price range but I thought I'd throw it out there.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West TCM EXCLUSIVE: Four Wheel Hard Top

Very interesting, and smart that you are branding it as a FWC as opposed to a Six Pac, as they are totally different markets. Also like that you aren't putting an A/C on top, keeping it light, and real. I hope it sells well. I was interested to hear Tom say you are working on a swamp cooler...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Windows Vista

How old is your mac? If its an intel mac (>2006) it will run windows in a virtual machine at near native speeds or you can boot directly into Windows using Apple's bootcamp software. VMware Fusion and Paralells will run windows xp, vista (though it sounds like you don't ever want to go there...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New Four Wheel Campers Web Site "Coming Soon" !

New product videos, walk thrus of all the models (not just the Hawk), a QTVR of the interior. A history of FWC page. The evolution of the FWC from Dave Rowe's original design. It's actually a really interesting story. You should also include a modifications page with examples from this forum...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Naming a camper

Why limit yourself to extant big cats? North America has been home to some amazing big cats including Felis Atrox, the North American Lion. Imagine an African Lion of today, but 900 lbs (African Lions top out at around 300). There was also Miracynox jubatas, the North American Cheetah, again...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Interesting Shower Option

There is also this one... Unfortunate product name, similar concept to zodi showers but minus ability to heat up water inside container... http://www.hotjugz.com/ It's much cheaper than a zodi shower, but probably not as cheap as you could fabricate yourself. Many examples on...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West San Diego to BC !

Some Southern Utah suggestions MXVP I lived in Southern Utah for about twenty years before coming east. Since you'll be nearby when you visit Zion I strongly recommend the Coral Pink Sand Dunes state park, you can get there quickest by leaving the park through the east entrance on highway 9...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Newbie checkin in with a question

Hi, I am a longtime lurker, getting closer to a purchase for my 02 Tacoma. Leaning towards a shell model as I like to KISS (Keep it Simple, Stupid). Been trying to wait for that perfect used Eagle or Ranger, but I live in Ohio and most used units are on the west coast it seems. Also need to say...
