Ski, Congrats , Hope you have as much fun as i did with the build.Start with 1/2" OSB cheap for mockup lots of L brackets.Make sure they frame for Frig ,Furnace outlet ,Power inlet ,Propane box or anything you might have going through the frame.Have them put interior ply on so you can take it...

We have been on the road 2 months so far about 6,000 miles and lots of rain here in Alaska.All is well NO LEAKS!!!and no rig problems!!!Just came out of the Kenai with a few Salmon in the frezer..Headin north for Fairbanks maybe we can find some warm rainless WX..Yes I will post some AK pics...

Have been traveling through BC on our way to Alaska. Unfortunately it is difficult to find good internet access to load pictures. We stopped by the factory and this seemed a good place to start our trip. Since I fish thought I might need a bigger fly rod like this 1 in Houston BC.

Went to the truck stop to weigh the truck and Grandby today.Looks like the camper came in at about 1370 lbs. with no water but with 130 lbs of batteries,2-75w solar panels and pots pans and plates.Total weight for 2003 3/4 ton Chevy Duramax ext cab LB and Grandby came in at 8320 lbs.So it looks...

Hadley, I think I found the part-time filters at Camping World, they come in a two pack.I kinda feel the same about camping as I did sailing.You try not to be in places that the butter gets hard!!Will be loading the camper on the truck today,will be heading out on the "shake up" cruise-and deer...

Hadley, The water filter is a Everpure with the small part-timer cartridge in it.Little pricey but has a bypass plug.
