RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Rieco jack drill adapter

Tod: Thanks - looks like a heavy grease is under the cover. I will add some more grease. I will definitely do some PMs on them next time BEFORE I load the camper on them. Thanks, Ken

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Rieco jack drill adapter

Thanks for the feedback - I will definitely order two cranks for the future. My Dewalt is about 20 years old - it could be that the end of the jack throw is tight and it will open up as I raise it. A new tool (already authorized by the financial coordinator) is never a bad thing. Thanks Ken

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Rieco jack drill adapter

So, after 2 1/2 years, I finally took my Fleet off the Tacoma. I have two of the Rieco drill adapters which worked well to remove the camper. But now that it is lowered all the way down, none of my drills have the torque to lift it back up. I also can’t find or never received the hand...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Winterizing.

I agree with Vic. I have used the RV antifreeze once and it took a very long time to get rid of the taste. I blow out the system in the fall and leave it empty all winter.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Velcro Bags/Organizers that attach to Arctic Pack Velcro?

I just purchased two of these. I have a sewing machine and fully capable to make these myself, but the mesh material that is used is awesome and is not something that I have worked with before and I have no idea where to source it. Worth the money (even without the discount.) Ken

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Draining water tank ?

Dennis: My rear drain valve is a ball valve that is fully open to the right (passenger side) and fully closed to the left (driver side.) it closes quickly as you turn it - so straight back is mostly closed. Hope this is correct and helps.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Purging the water system for Serious winter camping

I am still trying to figure this out myself, so please don't take my approach as gospel. I used the pink stuff last year and it took quite a few rinses to get rid of the aftertaste. I was not happy with it. I also read every post about this issue on WTW and came to the conclusion that the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Towel push baar on back screen door?

Ditto at the top on a Fleet. Watch the clearance of any drawers or cabinet doors. I just cleared the silverware drawer by pure luck.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New FWC Fleet in the great white north

Vic: Yes, it is insulated and very cozy. I have a heater that connects to the second propane tank, but it has to get pretty cold to need it. Ken

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New FWC Fleet in the great white north

Rebelle: I did exactly what juniper recommended - OME suspension, SPC upper control arms, Firestone airbags and daystar cradles, E tires and I added the ARB twin compressor. Everything has been perfect. I have not driven the truck without the camper, so no experience there. My only negative...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New FWC Fleet in the great white north

Hey, I have been a long time lurker here, using the collective wisdom to plan and purchase my 2019 Tacoma Off-road with a 2019 FWC Fleet. The camper was purchased through Rocky Mountain FWC and truck mods done by Juniper Overland. The rig's primary purpose is base camp for our outdoor...
