condensation my friend. been there done that. with the roof down and the foamy in place no air movement. its a big sandwich. happen to me even when my unit was in the garage over the winter. also my buddy with a tc650 which was under cover (shed) mentioned it to him and no more problems either...

a buddy of mine has a 650 on a tundra. will get in touch and find out the year of the tundra. he had to install timbrens. 650 is a nice unit for sure.

first, i too have a half ton truck with a hawk. but do the math. be careful thats all. no matter what mods u do to the truck at the end of the day its still 1500. for me the timbrens were the way to go, and i am happy with them. no more saggy bum and the sway is gone. with all the after market...

yes that is the item. purchased from a marine store. i work on the water so i was able to get feed back from others. anything that keeps the foamy up to allow air movement will work.

Purchased the Neptune Slat Sytem and after a few nights on it, it works. Bottom side of mattress, total dry. Very happy. Now the negative, with the 4" foam and the slat system were talking 6", and the roof will not come all the way down. Re and re the 4" foam for a 2" and just not enough padding...

even this old boy knew how to take care of the problem. ain't pretty but it was toasty. hunting trip first of oct.

did this up on a hunting trip three weeks ago, took it down after the wind storm. gonna use one of them auto/ rv shelters next time, that way i can have sides to cut the wind.

is it the black say 1/2 round stuff, standard stuff at a rv place.

x2 been trying different things and that looks like the one. i have trying out those car/boat/atv shelters, ok but not perfect. hope u get a responce

4" is the problem. if fwc made the roof 2" higher i think it would solve 90% of our problem. it would allow for a reg mattress, problem solve, maybe.

I am the only one in town with one. When i see one travelling thru town i hunt them down and have a chin wag.

I see u have a trailer reciever, put that to use. Get the male part and weld a plate on it, works great and safe.
